Also, congratulations to junior Steven Lau for winning the highest honor, Superior, for on-site sports writing at the convention. (Barr) FOOTBALL VS. MONTE VISTA TONIGHT!! Start working on your carpools and caravans to get the whole Grizzly Nation to Monte Vista's stadium tonight! JV starts at 4:30 and Varsity starts at 7pm! Get there early to get a seat!! Buy your Grizzly Gear during lunch hour if you need to "Orange UP"! Head out to Monte Vista early tonight and join the Grizzly Nation! Be LOUD and be PROUD! (Mantz) SOFTBALL MEETING If you are interested in playing softball in the spring, come to an informational meeting on Monday, Nov. 9th at 3:00 in room 114. (Saiki) SPORTS SCHEDULE FRIDAY, NOV. 6 JV/Varsity Football vs. Monte Vista, Away @ 4:30/7:00 SATURDAY, NOV. 7 Men’s Water Polo @ NCS vs. Campolindo @ Soda Aquatic Center, Orinda @ 3:45 OTHER NEWS DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT The City of San Ramon is hosting a Dodgeball Tournament at Iron Horse Gym on Friday, November 13th starting at 7:00 p.m. Come out and test those skills from back in the day. Round robin matches will determine team rankings for playoffs. Cost is $60 per team of 6, and pre-registration at the San Ramon Community Center is recommended (ACT#63433). Registration will be taken on site starting at 6:30 p.m. until full. Tournament Rules and Medical Release Waivers (required for every player) can be downloaded from www.SRTeen.org. DANVILLE OAKS RUGBY Danville Oaks Rugby is looking for players who want to learn a fun and dynamic new game that combines aspects of football, basketball, and soccer. Rugby is a sport that all athletes can play no matter age, size, shape, or experience. Playing rugby improves personal fitness and helps develop skills that can be used in other sports like football.
