Academic Booster's Accomplishments

California High School Academic Boosters

April 2017

Dear Cal High Families,

The purpose of the California High School Education Fund - Academic Boosters is to raise money to enhance learning at California High School. Our fundraising activities are managed by Cal High Parents and we support all students, at all grade levels, and at all levels of academic performance.

Donating to the Ed Fund now can help spread out the impact of other fall donations, and it helps provide some budget certainty for the school who depend on us for additional teacher positions to help expand classes with high demand and offer specialty classes that might otherwise have low enrollment. Plus, this coming school year we will be taking advantage of a 2:1 match program to purchase technology at Cal High through the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation Technology Initiative. Donations this spring will allow us to get technology in place in time for the start of classes in the fall.

The requested donation amount for 2017-18 is $450 per child enrolled at Cal High.

Again, if you donate now, your membership in the Education Fund will be covered for the entire 2017-2018 school year.

Your contribution also directly supports many other programs at Cal High including:

  • College Information Nights and ACT/SAT Prep Classes for all students
  • Student Teams and Clubs
  • Two $1000 scholarships for Cal High graduating Seniors
  • Student Academic Awards (Certificates, Letters, Pins, Graduation Cords)

We also benefit greatly from Employer Matching Funds! Please fill out the Employee Matching information on the attached form or email us at after donating online to give us your employer’s information. We have a dedicated Board Member to help submit matching funds requests so please fill in the information.

Thank you so much for supporting excellence in education at Cal High.
