    NHS TUTORING DURING FINALS

    NHS tutors will be available to help students prepare for final exams in room 211 during the following days/times:

    Tues., 5/28: during lunch AND after school (3-4pm); Wed., 5/29: after school (12:45-1:45pm); Thurs., 5/30: after school (12:45-1:45pm). Students should bring their notes/textbooks. (O’Malley)

    CALIFORNIA STATE SEAL OF BILITERACY AWARDS

    Cal High World Language Department is thrilled to award many seniors the California State Seal of Biliteracy this year as a result of their work in four years of world language in SRVUSD.  The seal will appear on their high school diploma and they will also receive a cord for graduation. Picking up cords for graduation:  Students studying Spanish can pick up their Seal of Biliteracy graduation cords from Mrs. Guerrero (Room WL-2, last names A-L) and Mr. Tinetti (Room WL-5, last names M-Z) from May 20-24 during brunch.  Students studying Chinese can pick up their cords from Mrs. Wang (Room 204, Main Building) in class or after school on May 23rd and 24th. Students studying French can pick up their cords from Madame Kershaw (Room WL-3) May 20-24th after school or during tutorial. Cords will also be available from level 4 or AP world language teachers (Kershaw, Adams, and Wang) if the student is enrolled in a world language course this year. (M. Anderson)

    STUDENT ART SHOW

    Cal High Visual Arts Department invites you to the 2018-19 student art show exhibiting works from our very own talented students including Ceramics, Photography, Drawing & Painting, AP Studio Art, & more! Date: Thursday, May 23rd from 5:30-7:30. Location: CHS Fine Arts Building. (Tangney)

    YEARBOOKS

    The yearbooks have arrived and are being distributed outside of World Language, room 1 for the remainder of the year. Students who bought ASB or a Senior Gold Card bought a yearbook.  Students picking up their yearbook need to show a photo ID and make sure they do not have any outstanding balances or books with the library, textbook room, and/or cafeteria (Nutritional Services).  It is not too late to buy a yearbook. Yearbooks will also be sold in WL-1 for $130.  Please bring cash or a check payable to Cal High yearbook.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Ms. Brindley. (Brindley)

    GIRLS’ GOLF TEAM INFO

    Any girls who are interested in trying out for the golf team in the fall who did not attend the May 15 meeting in Mr. Barr's room should drop by room 321 to pick up some information regarding the upcoming season. (Barr)
