Explore A Career

where do you see yourself in 5 years?

"So, what do you want to do for a career?"

If you don't have the answer to this question, that's okay! That's why the College & Career Center exists -- to help you navigate this very, very important life decision. In order to determine what career is the best fit for you, it is important to spend time self-evaluating your skills, values, strengths, weaknesses, and interests.

Self-evaluation will help to weed out careers that are not complimentary of your strengths, personality, and life goals, while pivoting toward job opportunities that fit in with what you want out of life. These evaluations will help you consider work/life balance, flexibility, a desk job versus a job where you are more active and on your feet.

Meeting with Ms. Plummer will help you to navigate career exploration, educational goals, self-analysis, and long-term interests. She can help guide you toward internships, volunteer opportunities, resume production, interview preparation, job shadowing, and networking tactics.
