Senior Graduation Activities

Class of 2022 YEAR-END Information

 

Save the Dates! With the continuing decline of COVID cases, we can now plan safe outdoor activities for the class of 2022.  Here is a brief outline with dates and details for the end of the year events. We hope to provide the class of 2022 with meaningful and exciting activities!

  • February 2022

    • 31st: Deadline to order caps and gowns

  • April 2022

    • 15th: Grad Night final ticket sales 

  • May 2022

    • TBD:  Baccalaureate Ceremony

  • June 2022

    • 2nd:  Last day of finals

    • 3rd:  Graduation Ceremonies

    • 3rd:  Grad Night

Graduation Speaker and Performance Tryouts, April 21st starting at 1:30pm

We invite seniors to audition for a three-minute speech or talent of some kind (music or song) to perform during one of the graduation ceremonies. Please complete this form if you are interested in auditioning by 3pm on Friday April 15th to ensure that you are on the list to audition. No late entries will be accepted (no exceptions)! Lawn Signs, (sponsored by our PTSA)

  1. Senior lawn signs will be available for pick up on Tuesday, April 26 from 12:30pm to 4:30pm in front of the Administration building. Seniors or their caregivers are encouraged to pick up during this time. One sign per senior, names will be checked off. Questions? Contact Karen Robman at krobman@att.net

Senior Ball

Senior Ball is May 7th.  Ticket sales end Sunday April 24th. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets.  Ball Royalty is starting now. Fill out THIS for nomination.  Ball Guest Contract Passes are available in the front office. 

 

Cap & Gown delivery day: May 17, 2022

A Jostens representative will be in front of the Main Building on May 17th during brunch and lunch to hand out caps/gowns.  If you ordered your cap/gown late or haven’t picked up your cap/gown or grad announcements yet, please be sure to pick up your grad items at this time.  This is the only delivery day so all seniors must pick up their items at this time.

For students who have already purchased their cap and gown and have not yet picked them up, they are in the front office along with purchased announcements. 

 

Senior Picnic: May 20th, 9:00 AM - 3:45 PM

Join us for a day at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo.  For seniors with a Senior Gold ASB Card the Senior Picnic is $25. Regular ticket price is $100 which includes luxury bus transport, park pass, lunch and supervision.  Tickets available HERE.  Limited tickets are available and may sell out. Deadline to purchase May 6th. (The price increase is due to increase transportation costs from $14K to $28K). 

 

Adopt-a-Senior, On-going through the end of May (sponsored by our PTSA) TBD

Seniors can sign up to be “adopted” by another parent and receive surprises from the “adoptive parent” until the end of the school year. If you want to have your senior adopted or you want to adopt another senior, you can go to the Cal High Class of 2021 website-Adopt a Senior for instructions.

 

Senior T-Shirt, Stolls, Pennants Pick Up Day TBD (Sponsored by ASB Leadership)

We invite you to pick up Senior t-shirts and various other senior items.  This will happen at the windows outside the new Leadership room in T-3 (facing the library) 

 

Memory Posters, Photos due TBD (sponsored by our PTSA)

Submit photos to the Cal High PTSA Memory Poster committee to create a poster collage for your senior.  Posters may be displayed at senior activities at school and available for pick-up at the end of the year to give to your senior as a keepsake.  For instructions, go to Class of 2021-Class Activities.

 

Baccalaureate TBD [This event is not a school-sponsored event]

All Cal High seniors and their families are welcome to this event organized by Cal High parents and students, which the Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church facilitates.  It is an event to reflect on the personal growth and achievements of the seniors.  For more information, please visit the Calhigh2021 website-Baccalaureate. 

 

Graduation Rehearsal/Ceremony Instructions

 

Graduation Practices: June 2nd, after school (time TBD) 

Grad Practice is mandatory for students attending graduation. Those who do NOT have their own cap and gown will be able to borrow after graduation practice.

 

Borrowed cap/gown information:

Students who have chosen to borrow a cap and gown may pick them up during graduation practice on TBD.

 

Graduation Ceremony: June 3rd, 6pm at CHS Stadium

Grad caps thrown

 

Grad Night, (sponsored by our PTSA): June 3, 10 pm-1:00 pm, Cal High Campus

A fun, final celebration for the class of 2022! Music, food, games and more! Join your classmates to celebrate all you have accomplished and all that is yet to come! Price starts at $125 for PTA Members and $150 for non members. Tickets are on sale on the FUTURE FUND and all the INFO LINKED HERE.  Tickets will NOT be sold at the gate.  Think you bought a ticket already? Go to FUTUTE FUND and click on "Registration Receipt" to check your receipt OR contact Karen Robman krobman@att.net.  

Graduation Pictures

  • Studio One Photography will be providing professional photography services of the graduate with their diploma on graduation day.  You can view and order photos 48 hours after graduation.  Click Here to view and order images after graduation.
